Assistant Professor, Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology; College of Arts and Sciences
Professor Hood is an ecologist who studies the patterns and fluxes of nutrients and energy in freshwater systems. His research broadly focuses on 1) how nutrient supply and temperature influence the growth and nutrient balance of organisms, and, 2) how these individual responses sum to shape ecosystem processes.
