Led by the institute’s faculty in residence, TDAI’s communities of practice conduct transdisciplinary research; identify and pursue funding and publishing opportunities that advance their research agenda; and forge partnerships with industry and community organizations that are similarly committed to contributing to the greater good.

Using computational techniques and big data to address concerns related to human behavior, or to gain insights into basic social processes that cannot be identified with conventional methods.
Building research teams with data scientists and experts from domain areas to develop big-data analytics that have translational value in health care and life sciences.
