Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Assistant Professor in Maths @ Ohio State University

Before, I was at University of Michigan affiliated with MIDAS and Mathematics, working with Prof. Oleg Gnedin and Prof. Xun Huan. I did my PhD at University of Zurich, under the supervision of Prof. Rémi Abgrall and Prof. Romain Teyssier.

I like to think about the following things:

  • Scientific Machine Learning: constraint-aware methods, uncertainty quantification, interpretability and hybrid solvers
  • Structure-preserving numerical methods for nonlinear hyperbolic PDEs
  • Arbitrary high order methods for PDEs/ODEs
  • Reinforcement Learning
  • Applications of ML (astrophysics, medical AI, natural language processing)
