TDAI's first Ohio Public Interest Fellow named
Alec Sheets, a PhD student in Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology, has been awarded a brand new Ohio Public Interest Fellowship from the Battelle Center for Science, Engineering and Public Policy with support from TDAI. The fellowship program is part of the Battelle Center's grant from New America’s Public Interest Technology University Network. Sheets, an advisee of TDAI Core Faculty and Professor Andreas Chavez, will assist in reconfiguring a fish Index of Biotic Integrity for the portion of rivers and streams entering Lake Erie affected by seiches.
