TDAI Hosts the International Conference on Intelligent Biology and Medicine (ICIBM 2025)

We were proud to welcome the 13th International Conference on Intelligent Biology and Medicine (ICIBM 2025) to Columbus, Ohio, on August 3–5, 2025, hosted in the Ideation Zone at Pomerene Hall (Room 320, The Gymnasium). This high-caliber, international meeting brought together leading researchers, scholars, and practitioners from across the fields of computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, artificial intelligence, biomedical informatics, and translational science.
 
ICIBM 2025 featured keynote addresses from prominent leaders in the field, including:
  • Julie A. Johnson, Pharm.D., The Ohio State University
  • Jiang Bian, Ph.D., Indiana University
  • Veera Baladandayuthapani, Ph.D., University of Michigan
  • Qing Nie, Ph.D., University of California, Irvine
 
In addition, the Eminent Scholar Award Speakers included Kaifu Chen, Ph.D. (Harvard Medical School/Broad Institute), Yu-Ping Wang, Ph.D. (Tulane University), Xiang Zhou, Ph.D. (Yale University), and Yufeng Shen, Ph.D. (Columbia University).
 
The program included presentations, workshops, flash talks, and poster sessions, covering emerging topics such as:
  • Single-cell and spatial omics technologies
  • Applications of AI, large language models, and machine learning in biomedical research
  • Precision medicine and translational bioinformatics
  • Systems biology and synthetic biology
  • Medical informatics and data-driven solutions for health disparities
 
As a partner in this year’s conference, we were especially excited to provide a platform that fostered interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative research conversations. The energy and ideas exchanged in the Ideation Zone underscored the importance of convening global expertise to address complex scientific and medical challenges.
 
We look forward to continuing to build on the momentum of ICIBM 2025 by supporting collaborative, cross-disciplinary research at Ohio State and beyond.
