Deadline to submit: Oct. 25

The Translational Data Analytics Institute is accepting letters of intent for researcher-driven, yearlong thematic programs to catalyze big ideas toward realizing TDAI’s mission: to enable interdisciplinary, responsible and big data-enabled research with impact in society. All topics are welcome, with special consideration given to proposals that relate to TDAI’s strategic research directions:

  • Foundations of AI
  • Responsible and Ethical Data Science
  • Climate, Environment and Sustainability
  • Health and Well-Being

This initiative is focused on piloting year-long themes in data science and AI that leverage unique combinations of research strengths at Ohio State to advance convergent, transdisciplinary research and education at a transformational scale. Exemplar programs include Human-Centered AI at Stanford University or Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at University of California, Berkeley.
