Joint Human–AI Systems Panel & Social

Thu, December 11, 2025
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Pomerene Hall Room 350 (Project Zone)

Overview

As we wrap up the first semester of the Joint Human–AI Systems in an Agentic World theme, TDAI invites you to a community event featuring a fast-paced panel discussion followed by a casual social hour.

Theme lead Mike Rayo will moderate a conversation with four OSU researchers whose work touches different dimensions of joint human–AI systems. Together, they will explore how humans and AI can collaborate effectively in complex settings, the kinds of design and governance challenges they are seeing in their domains, and where they see promising directions for future research.

The goal of this event is to spark ideas, surface connections, and strengthen the cross-disciplinary community around human–AI teaming at Ohio State.

Format

The event will begin with a semi-structured panel (approximately 3:00–4:00 PM), followed by a social hour (4:00–5:00 PM) with snacks and time for informal conversation. Attendees are welcome to join for the full two hours or for whichever portion fits their schedule.
