Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

The Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI) Joint Human–AI Systems yearlong theme invites you to our second Community Connect meeting—an open forum to hear from the broader community and determine what we should prioritize as we move forward together over the next year.

We encourage attendees to come prepared with a two-minute pitch (one slide optional, but not required) highlighting either:

  • A specific issue that deserves more research, or
  • A capability that, if built, would represent valuable progress for joint human–AI systems.

As a community, we will discuss submitted ideas and work toward collectively prioritizing the topics that should guide future activities and funding emphasis across the theme.

Discussion prompts to consider:

  • What are specific needs of joint human–AI systems in your setting or industry?
  • What computational needs exist to support joint human–AI systems?
  • What aspects of coordination or collaboration do we need to understand better in joint human–AI systems?
  • What solutions would be most impactful?
