Ohio State's Office of Knowledge Enterprise, in collaboration with the Translational Data Analytics Institute, is hosting a three-part series of BIIG Ideas workshops for interdisciplinary research-focused faculty, staff, and postdocs with interest in one of three interest tracks:
- AI + Health
- AI + Education
- AI + Environment
The development and use of responsible and trustworthy AI (i.e., AI accountability, reliability, explainability, privacy and security) will be a cross-cutting theme across all tracks, so researchers working/interested in these research topics are especially encouraged to attend.
The facilitated BIIG Ideas series focuses on identifying and refining interdisciplinary concepts, strengthening collaborations, and drafting action plans to help make your BIIG Idea a reality. Groups participating in BIIG Ideas will have the opportunity to apply for a BIIG Start Award of up to $10,000 for continued team development support.
- Workshop 1: How to Build a Translational Question - Wednesday, Nov. 1, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
- Workshop 2: Exploring Collaborative Opportunities - Wednesday, Nov. 15, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
- Workshop 3: From Ideas to Action - TBD via Zoom per interest track
