Using deep learning to monitor India's disappearing forest cover
TDAI Core Faculty member Rongjun Qin is one of the co-authors on a research poster presented at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union by lead author and graduate student in Earth Sciences Ying Zuo. The poster shares a deep learning algorithm the team has developed that, using satellite monitoring data, could provide real-time monthly land use and land cover maps for parts of India. Read more.
