BioCLIP receives top honors at CVPR

Faculty, students and staff stand on stage holding their award

Members of the Imageomics Institute won Best Student Paper honors at the 2024 IEEE/CVF Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) Conference for their BioCLIP species identification research. Samuel Stevens and Jiaman (Lisa) Wu were co-lead authors on the paper.

CVPR is the premier annual event in the computer vision field. The BioCLIP vision foundation model, developed by researchers from The Ohio State University and several Imageomics collaborators, represents a major advancement in biological image classification.
