USAID is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for several fellowship programs for scientists and engineers. These fellowships provide a firsthand experience of working in the government. Fellows can work across the USAID’s sectors to apply analytic rigor, increase adaptive management and the use of evidence, support program management and policy implementation, and apply their diverse backgrounds to new approaches.
Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply to the following fellowships:
-AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowship by Nov. 1st
A fellowship providing opportunities for outstanding scientists and engineers to learn first-hand about federal policymaking while using their knowledge and skills to address today’s most pressing societal challenges alongside influential alumni.
-Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers -USA Engineering & International Development Fellowship by Dec. 7th
Fellowship that offers an opportunity for member of the science, technology, and engineering community to provide valuable technical expertise to USAID while learning about and contributing to the foreign policy process.
