User stories sought for new academic research platform

Ohio State Libraries is seeking user stories to inform a new research tool it is helping to create as part of the Big Ten Academic Alliance consortium.

The Shared BigData Gateway project, led by Indiana University, will be developing a platform to allow researchers across Big Ten institutions and beyond to access and analyze large data sets (both public and licensed) useful for bibliometric or “science of science” network research, including the Microsoft Academic Graph, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office records, and the Web of Science XML Core Collection.

OSU researchers and research administrators can provide valuable input into the design and development of this platform by submitting user stories regarding use of such a tool so that researcher needs and feedback can directly impact the interface design and ultimate functionality of this cloud-based platform.

Submit your user story here: http://iuni.iu.edu/resources/cadre/user-stories.
