Become a TDAI affiliate

Ohio State faculty who actively use and advance data science and analytics are invited to become affiliates of the Translational Data Analytics Institute, which provides opportunities for researchers and educators working in data science and analytics and data-enabled applied domains to connect and collaborate with each other and with external partners.

TDAI connects affiliates with:

  • Research communities of practice
  • Support including funding, space, datasets, compute resources, proposal coaching, peer mentoring and professional development
  • Networking, training and research opportunities
  • Opportunities to meet potential partners from industry, community organizations, and other academic centers and institutes
  • News about funding opportunities, events and more

TDAI affiliates are required to:

  • Be an Ohio State faculty member (all ranks and appointments)
  • Have an established body of work and make active contributions to data science and analytics-related research, scholarship and/or education
  • Provide scholarship summaries when requested for use in TDAI annual reporting
  • Serve as ambassador for TDAI when attending meetings, conferences, and events (i.e., note affiliation). Optional: Cite TDAI in email signature and consider including link to the TDAI website (e.g., “Affiliate, Translational Data Analytics Institute”)
