Dr. Huling’s research interests focus on the intersection of causal inference, precision medicine, and machine learning with the aim of improving patient and health outcomes. His work has involved applications in hospital system risk modeling and in personalizing hospital intervention enrollment decisions. His research also includes methodological and computational developments with the aim of flexibly modeling highly complex and/or large-scale data.
