Dr. Hayes-Ozello supports interdisciplinary team proposal development for the Translational Data Analytics Institute, conducting capture planning and strategy development, and leading proposal preparation activities. As a research scientist, she managed and co-wrote NIH grants for an infectious diseases laboratory; in 2003, she developed the first Office of Grant Support for the Department of Veterinary Biosciences, successfully bridging between investigators and grant sponsors. From 2007 to 2017, she served as Grants and Contracts Administrator for the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Global One Health Initiatives Office, working with large interdisciplinary and multinational teams. Dr. Hayes-Ozello was senior editor for Bioscience Writers, LLC, from 2002 to 2018. She holds a PhD and MS in Viral Pathogenesis from Ohio State.
