The American Statistical Association and the Caucus for Women in Statistics are hosting the first annual Florence Nightingale Day at the Ohio State campus as well as other locations across the country. The event is designed to help girls in grades 8-12 discover opportunities for careers in statistics and data science, participate in activities with data, and develop connections.

Space is limited. Transportation must be provided by parents and teachers. Students must attend with teacher or parent.

The organizers are looking for teachers willing to volunteer to bring a group of students to attend, and for volunteers to help organize and coordinate.
